Girls Basketball
A unique opportunity for girls.
Girls Basketball in Utah is unique. Because most girls in Utah are in other sports like dance, gymnastics, soccer, and volleyball, it creates a space for more girls to be in basketball in Utah and be extremely successful. In fact, 98% of our female players start playing JV and Varsity during 9th and 10th grade. There is less competitions which creates an easier path for your player. Despite that, there is a huge gap between female basketball players in Utah. They are either extremely beginners or play at an advanced level. We encourage girls to start basketball as early as they can. We offer programs for players 3 yrs-old and up.

At Invictus Basketball Club, we are dedicated to empowering young female athletes to reach their full potential on and off the court. Our Girls Basketball Program is designed to provide a supportive and competitive environment where players can develop their skills, grow their confidence, and build lifelong friendships.
From beginners to advanced players, our program focuses on comprehensive development through skill-building sessions, team practices, and competitive games. We emphasize fundamental techniques, advanced basketball strategies, and critical thinking, all taught by experienced coaches who understand the unique needs and strengths of female athletes.
At Invictus Basketball Club, we believe in pushing our female players to excel beyond the ordinary. For our youngest athletes, ages 3-12, we encourage a competitive environment where they play alongside and against boys their age or slightly younger. As they advance, our older girls' teams often compete against boys’ teams in practice or when local female competition isn't strong enough.
This co-ed approach has proven highly effective. Our female athletes learn to play faster, more aggressively, and with greater intensity than many of their peers. The initial learning curve is steep — boys often have a natural athletic edge — but with perseverance and hard work, our girls close that gap. Many have gone on to beat boys' teams at the same grade level.
While most of our female athletes play on girls-only teams, those who demonstrate exceptional skills may be placed on selected boys’ teams, raising their game even further. Training side-by-side with boys’ teams enhances their development, pushing them to new heights.
As our girls grow in strength and skill, finding strong competition in Utah can become challenging. That's why our advanced girls' teams often compete out-of-state, where they've won championships and proven themselves in the toughest divisions. At Invictus, we don’t just level the playing field — we elevate it.
